Note: This instrument is USED, and has been serviced by ouir repair technicians to be in the best possible playing condition.
This 1977 King Super 20 Alto Saxophone is a piece of history and a one-of-a-kind horn. Even though the King Super 20 range was officially discontinued in 1975, we estimate that this saxophone was produced in 1977 after King was bought out by United Musical Instruments. King Super 20 saxophones are revered for their iconic sound and were played by saxophone players such as Julian “Cannonball” Adderley, Charlie Parker, James Moody, Sonny Rollins, and many more.
This saxophone has been treated with a full repad, full recork, and professional cleaning. This horn also features the “full pearls” on the side keys and palm keys. The lacquer is in excellent condition with very little signs of wear or use.
