Sadao Yairi was a luthier based in Japan who made high-quality Japanese acoustic guitars with his son. These guitars were first built under the brand name “S. Yairi” between the 1960s and 1980s. Nowadays, Yairi is the name of the top-of-the-line Alvarez Guitars and are now sold under Alvarez brand in the United States.

Players revere these guitars for their exceptional build quality, especially when to its U.S. competitors at the time. This guitar was built in 1976 and boasts a warm and rich sound with plenty of sustain to match.
